Funding Opportunities

ATI Internal Grant Award

The ATI Internal Grant Award supports investigators generating the critical translational evidence needed to advance promising discoveries toward early clinical testing.

  • Award amount: up to $100,000 per project
  • Total funding: $300,000 (2–3 awards anticipated)
  • Award period: 18 months
  • Application deadline for spring 2027 cycle: TBD

Projects may include:

  • Preclinical studies supporting IND applications
  • Biomarker validation and therapeutic targeting
  • Drug repurposing and orphan disease therapies
  • Proof-of-concept therapeutic studies

ATI also provides administrative and regulatory support for IND preparation, enabling investigators to focus on advancing the science.

ATI Data Commons Demonstration Project

The ATI Data Commons Demonstration Project supports a focused pilot study designed to both generate high-impact preliminary data for translational research and serve as a real-world use case to refine the ATI Data Commons Phase I data infrastructure build.

  • Award type: in-kind analytic support (no direct funding)
  • Award period: about 6–12 months
  • Number of awards: 1–2 projects

Selected teams will receive:

  • Data extraction and harmonization
  • Bioinformatics and statistical analysis
  • Cohort development and multimodal data integration

Projects should leverage multiple data types (e.g., EHR, imaging, genomics) and address clinically meaningful questions, particularly in rare and genetic disease.
