Grief Navigation Trial
Supporting parents on their grief journey.
The Grief Navigation Trial supports parents grieving the sudden or traumatic death of a child. By including up to 2,000 parents over the course of the study, we will investigate different strategies for connecting families with grief support services, starting at medical examiner or coroner offices. This collaborative effort includes the University of Chicago's Lindau Lab, the HAP Foundation's Missing Pieces, medical examiner and coroner offices in Illinois, community-based organizations, and bereaved families.
