Gastroenterology Research Program

Research conducted by the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition is dedicated to improving treatments for digestive disorders. In addition to performing basic and clinical research at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, the division also participates in multi-center studies and is a clinical center for the Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis Clinical Research Network and the Childhood Liver Disease Research and Education Network, a collaboration investigating new diagnostic, etiologic, and treatment options for children with liver disease and children who undergo liver transplantation.
