Research Information Technology
The Research Information Technology (IT) team is comprised of Information Management experts dedicated to supporting the technology needs of Manne Research Institute. The team is responsible for planning, coordination, and implementation of information technology, under the direction of the enterprise Lurie Children’s Information Management Division, to support the complex research community and strategic initiatives.
Functions of the team include:
- providing Information Management guidance and support for the research institute.
- creating, implementing, and improving our IT request process.
- managing the project intake, project management, and reporting processes.
- managing and tracking EPMO approvals and Manne Research Institute IM Governance approvals.
- ensuring that Lurie Children's IT standards and information security are implemented and followed to protect the research institute and medical center.
- providing oversight for the IM PMO scoping and implementation process for research services
Information Technology Support
The Research IT team is comprised of Information Management (IM) professionals dedicated to supporting the technology operations of Manne Research Institute.
- This team provides technology-related assistance to researchers.
- Research IT also provides technical consultations to assist with preparing grant requests.
Research Project Support
- The Research Project Support team manages project Intake, EPMO approvals, and Manne Research Institute IM Governance Committee approvals.
- This team oversees the IM PMO scoping and implementation process and assigns IM resources.
- Research Project Support staff can provide technological assistance for projects, including the coordination of IM resources and the troubleshooting of technology issues.
Oversight and Escalation
Escalate technology issues to Information Management for the Research department.
