This learning module includes an overview of the different types of events that might meet the criteria of an unanticipated problem (UAP): adverse events (AEs), serious adverse events (SAEs) and protocol deviations, describes reporting roles, and how to report events to the Lurie Children’s Institutional Review Board (IRB).
