Objectives
- Understand the mission of the Research Review Board (RRB) and their research review requirements.
- Determine when to submit to the Lurie Children’s IRB and the CPS RRB.
- Recognize the types of research conducted with CPS and/or their data that require RRB review.
- Review an RRB application and discuss tips and tricks for completion.
Description
This session will include an in-depth discussion of the RRB review process and the suggested timing of when to work with both the RRB and Lurie Children’s IRB. In addition, the training provides an overview of how the review process by the RRB differs by research project type. Study team share experiences on conducting research with CPS, as well as provide tips and tricks when completing the RRB application.
